Marine Association of Yokohama and City of Yokohama are hosting the “Ocean Hub Yokohama Umi Expo 2026” to showcase the diverse charms of the ocean to the children who will shape our future. Now in its 11th year, the “Ocean Hub Yokohama Umi Expo” is a hands-on event for children centered on the theme of the ocean.Research institutions, companies, universities, and government agencies are joining forces to offer a variety of hands-on experiences that allow children to discover the unique charms of the ocean in Yokohama.
This year’s theme is “Let’s Expand Your Very Own Map.” We aim to provide children with an opportunity to feel a connection between themselves and the ocean’s charms, inspiring them to take a step toward the future.
