OXEXPO : An exhibition promoting Ocean Transformation (OX)<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n

“OXEXPO” is an exhibition focusing on Ocean Transformation (OX) as promoted by Japan’s ocean policy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

It is organised by Informa, organisers of “Sea Japan \/ Offshore & Port Tech”, the largest international maritime exhibition in Japan, In partnership with Yokohama City, Japan’s leading marine and port city, in collaboration with industry, academia and government marine industry players.<\/span><\/span>
The event will also take place at the same time as the “UMI-CON symposium” in Yokohama, bringing together all parties involved.<\/span>

Objectives of the event<\/span><\/strong>

  1. Create “sharing and integrating technologies, research results and information,” “stimulating and expanding exchange,” and “forming and consolidating new communities.”<\/span><\/li>\r\n
  2. Gather seeds (technology) that can be used in the marine industry and the latest needs (including industry trends) to create new businesses.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
  3. Promote the securing of marine human resources by providing an event that is easy for the general public and students to participate in.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
  4. Advance efforts toward the realization of a carbon-free society, leading to the growth of the marine industry.<\/span>
