Yokohama, a city striving to become a leading Ocean Hub, warmly welcomes the first-ever OXEXPO.

Yokohama has developed through its connection with the ocean and is home to a wealth of resources that serve as a hub for ocean-related activities. The city is also actively promoting decarbonization measures, such as becoming a carbon-neutral port, and is working to preserve its abundant marine resources for future generations.

OXEXPO 2026, which aims to promote “Ocean Technology”, “Ocean Mobility” and “Ocean Energy”, is expected to spark new technological innovations and industrial collaboration, contributing to the advancement of the Ocean Transformation (OX).

Yokohama looks forward to working together to develop the marine industry and build a sustainable future.

We are deeply grateful that OXEXPO 2026 will be held in Yokohama, where collaboration between industry, government, and academia will embody the Ocean Transformation (OX) philosophy.

Since our founding in 2015, our committee has been working to promote technological innovation and industrial development in the ocean sector, as well as to expand the industrial use of the ocean.

We look forward to this opportunity to utilize Yokohama’s ocean technology and human networks to expand collaboration both domestically and internationally and contribute to the creation of new innovations.

We sincerely hope for your cooperation.

Christopher Eve

Managing Director

Informa Markets Japan Co.,Ltd.

I would like to extend my greetings on the occasion of the inaugural OXEXPO 2026.

Informa Markets is honored to be collaborating with the City of Yokohama and the Yokohama Ocean Association to launch a new exhibition aimed at promoting the Ocean Transformation (OX) initiative promoted by the Japanese government.

As a country surrounded by sea, it is important for Japan’s development to make even greater use of the resources of its oceans. To that end, I believe it is of great significance to create this new opportunity for the exchange of information and ideas in Yokohama, a city where industry, academia, and government stakeholders in the marine industry gather.

I would greatly appreciate your support for this event.
