Japan Meteorological Agency Research Vessel- Ryofu Maru
The Ryofu Maru, a marine meteorological observation vessel operated by the Japan Meteorological Agency, conducts observations of seawater temperature, salinity, greenhouse gases contained in seawater, and marine meteorological conditions. Additionally, to improve the accuracy of predicting the formation of linear precipitation bands, the vessel conducts agile water vapour observations using marine water vapour observation equipment and upper-air meteorological observation equipment to accurately capture the inflow of water vapour from the ocean.

GLOBAL PORTS SAFETY Live Stream
Expertise France, an international cooperation agency of the French Republic, together with the Port and Harbor Bureau of the City of Yokohama and member companies of the Yokohama Port Carbon Neutral Port Council, will hold an international seminar on decarbonisation of marine fuels, primarily targeting port and energy officials from Southeast Asian and South Asian countries. The seminar will also be broadcast live at the OXExpo venue.

Demonstration Plaza
A demonstration will be conducted in actual sea conditions, organised by the Japan ROV Association. The latest equipment used in marine surveys, including ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) and USVs (Unmanned Surface Vehicles), will be gathered in one place, allowing visitors to observe actual navigation, operation, and equipment movements up close. You can see, touch, and experience the equipment used at the forefront of marine surveying.

YOKOHAMA MICE CHALLENGE
This is a co-creation problem-solving program in which the City of Yokohama works together with local university students to undertake projects at international conferences and exhibitions.
